Do I need any special hardware? +
No. At the Atelier runs in a web browser on any reasonably modern computer or tablet. If your staff can open a website, they can run a consultation.
Do I need a card to sign up? +
Yes. You authorize a card when you sign up, before we review your application. We charge nothing before the free period ends, and nothing if we do not approve the application. Our payment partner places a small temporary verification charge and refunds it automatically. The first 30 days from approval are free. After the free period, the subscription is $99 per month. A subscription code can give more free months, or a lower price for a set number of months.
I want the Prototype Kit. Do I still authorize a card at sign-up? +
No. The Prototype Kit gives 12 months of the Digital Ring Builder free. Order the Kit on the Kit page and pay by card; the link in your order email then sets up your store. We charge the card $99.00 USD per month from 12 months after purchase. Cancel any time before a charge.
How does the Kit credit work? +
The Prototype Kit gives your store $1,500 in manufacturing credit. The credit pays 10% of each custom ring order, up to $100 per order, for 18 months. After 18 months, 50% of the unused balance becomes new credit for another 18 months. The Kit page lists every condition. The Prototype Kit gives 12 months of the Digital Ring Builder free. You can cancel the Digital Ring Builder at any time.
Can I really brand it as my own store? +
Yes. The whole experience is yours — your logo, your storefront, your own branded subdomain. Your customers experience it as part of your store, not a third-party tool.
What happens after the free period ends? +
We remind you before the free period ends. The subscription then charges $99 per month to the card that you authorized at sign-up. Cancel before the free period ends and we charge nothing.
Do I have to hold inventory? +
No — that’s the whole point. You sell from the full on-screen catalogue and place the order with us once the customer commits, so you carry no stock and no capital risk.
How fast is manufacturing? +
Standard rings are made in 12 working days from payment. Delivery to the retailer then takes 3–4 business days by FedEx or DHL, depending on the destination country. Express rings are made in 6 working days. Your storefront shows each customer one estimated delivery date, and you can add your own handling time.
Where do you manufacture and ship? +
We manufacture in Mumbai and ship finished orders to the retailer's registered business address. The retailer completes any final handling and delivery to their customer.
How does diamond sourcing work? +
The builder searches live partner inventory. After the retailer reviews and pays for an order, the stone is held; our production team then accepts the order and purchases the stone for manufacturing.
